About me Curriculum Vitae Publications Contact Kostas Makantasis Machine learning / Computer vision / Image processing Home / About me About me In short I received my Computer Engineering diploma from the Technical University of Crete , and my PhD on Computer Vision and Machine Learning from the same University. I have been a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Technical University of Crete, at KIOS CoE , University of Cyprus, and at the Institute of Digital Games , University of Malta. I have been twice an Early Stage Researcher – Marie Curie Fellow (4D-CH-World MSCA IAPP project), while in February 2020 I have been awarded the prestigious Marie Curie Individual Fellowship grant to work on the development of tensor-based and preference learning models. I have coordinated the proposal preparation of six successfully funded European and Greek research projects.
